Even if the posts are set in concrete, when you go to pull them up, the concrete comes with them.
From the look of that photo, I'd say they have been concreted

It is more work than pulling out unconcreted posts, and I think to set them all in concrete is an over kill, but in the end, you, can get them, and the concrete, out.

That Paul Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11452852823080926838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3720983493149160502.post-65822151663251718142010-05-27T10:03:06.820-07:002010-05-27T10:03:06.820-07:00Good story, Russ.

Would you know whether those pipes are simply pounded into the ground (and therefore can be extracted later), or are they set in concrete? If the latter, does the concrete come up within plowing range of the surface? I ask, because that could make the difference between whether the land, if it Ron Steenblikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17419590389761944796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3720983493149160502.post-65725588995836647102010-05-27T06:58:47.442-07:002010-05-27T06:58:47.442-07:00Good points, Paul

The shade from the panels will reduce ground temperatures, and moisture evaporation, and ground level wind speed. Also makes good shade for farm animals.

You can crop the area, but for grazing it would help in these situations.

The connecticut example is a classic Paul Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11452852823080926838noreply@blogger.com
